Ever hear a Christian talk about experiencing darkness or say that they are in a “dark place?” I don’t know why, but that term always struck me the wrong way. Now I know why.
I was in prayer for a dear friend of mine. The Spirit brought the old hymn, “Heavenly Sunlight” to mind. I got a hymn book and saw that the song is based on John 8:12
“When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”
We are promised to have the light of life, but only when we follow Him. Friends, if you find yourself in darkness, then get back in the Light. You are off the path. Follow The Light!!
